Whole-body approach to healthy movement
Pilates is a holistic system that emphasises the entire body, with every movement originating from the centre. It aligns the joints from head to toe improving posture while harnessing the powerful conditioning benefits of healthy breathing techniques. I love to teach my clients about the connections that exist within their bodies, such as: - how improved core strength can reduce back pain, - how spinal mobility contributes to shoulder health, - how the angle of your pelvis could exacerbate your knee or foot pain, - and how tightness or weakness in your feet and ankles could affect everything above including your pelvic floor! By adopting a whole-body approach, Pilates not only helps you feel fantastic but also works to prevent problems before they arise, fostering healthy movement skills for lifelong mobility & fitness.

My classes will teach you high-quality movement that can translate seamlessly into your daily life: - Shoulder exercises improve strength & mobility enabling you to reach comfortably up to kitchen cupboards or lift luggage into overhead lockers on holiday. - Exercises teaching good squat technique or those on "all-fours" make tasks like cleaning, gardening, & playing with children or grandchildren easier & more comfortable. - Foot & hip exercises enhance balance & promote a healthy gait, helping you walk well for longer. - Improving alignment & mobility in our spines can alleviate discomfort from sitting or standing for extended periods. Even if you’re highly active & enjoy sports like swimming, running, weight-training, tennis or golf, you may still experience joint pain or stiffness or be interested in injury prevention. If you're looking to unlock the incredible benefits of Pilates in your cross-training routine, Worth Pilates can help. We tackle the imbalances that may have built up through repetitive movements in your sport or pass-time by incorporating new movement patterns or ranges of movement. My classes also offer a unique opportunity to slow down & focus on your body’s movement patterns. By firstly targeting & refining small detailed movements & then building them back up into the full-body movements needed in your sport, you can reduce your risk of injury, boost your performance & stay at your best for longer.
Small, personalised classes
To deliver teaching of the highest quality I keep my group classes small (typically between 7 & 10 places per class). This is so that I can provide individual attention & personalised instruction, helping you to gain the greatest benefit from each movement & ensure that every exercise is performed comfortably & safely.
Qualified & Experienced Instructor
I became a qualified Body Control Pilates® Teacher in 2014, a Licensed Buff Bones® Instructor in 2018 and an Advanced Buff Bones® Instructor in 2024. I hold a current CPR certificate & actively engage in professional development to continually enhance my skills & knowledge.
Comprehensive Enrolment Process to understand your goals
I offer a comprehensive enrolment process designed to understand your goals, interests, & any injuries or conditions that may affect your movement or exercise suitability. If you choose, private sessions before joining a class can help you get to know me & learn the basics, including how to modify exercises to meet your needs. These private sessions—whether alongside or in place of group classes—are tailored to you, & delivered at a pace & intensity that suits you best. They focus on your personal objectives, provide ample time for questions, & can include a customised homework program specifically designed to kickstart your Pilates journey.

Buff Bones® takes a holistic approach to bone health by building a strong, agile body & by reducing the risk of falls.
If you already love Pilates or Yoga but now want to adapt your workout to be "bone-health focussed", Buff Bones® is the perfect solution.
Highly recommended for the post-menopausal population, the Buff Bones® system is safe for individuals with osteopenia, osteoporosis & arthritis.
It’s also an excellent choice for anyone approaching midlife, new to Pilates, who wants to learn healthy movement skills to proactively care for their bones & balance.
